New County Officers Elected

We are delighted to announce that we elected some new County Officers. Miss Eleanor Smale of Forest Row YFC has been elected County Chairman and Miss Isabel Barr of Ringmer & Lewes YFC and Miss Kat Henderson of Lindfield YFC have been elected as COunty Vice-Chairmen.

All 3 new officers are looking forward to developing Sussex YFC with the members.

The Annual Ball at Plumpton Racecourse

Gail Shrubshall wins South East Area YFC Stockman of the Year

Gail Shrubsall from Ringmer & Lewes YFC, against very strong opposition won the South East Area YFC Stockman of the Year at the South of England Show at Ardingly.  Gail had to judge – Dairy, Beef, Sheep and Pigs as well as answering an animal questionnaire.  She is now off to the National Finals in early September at Harper Adams in Shropshire. Gail said “She was very surprise but delighted to win”.

For the first time Lindfield YFC were the club with the most points in the YFC Classes at the Show.  A comment from one of the Members “Great – all our hard work paid off”.
