It is with great sadness that we announce that we have had to cancel our Snowdon fundraising trek due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus. It is hoped that the trek can be reorganised for next year and we will keep our supporters updated.
We’re very excited to announce our next big fundraiser! On Saturday 4th July 2020, 16 adventurous Sussex Young Farmers will be climbing Mount Snowdon to raise money for Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance and Sussex Young Farmers. The funds raised will be split evenly between the two charities.
Snowdon is the highest mountain in England and Wales, with an elevation of 1,085m/3560ft! Our team will be walking a total of 2170m/7120ft over the day to reach the summit and return to the base for a well deserved rest!
Off to Wales we go!
It will take us 6 hours to get there and is over 300 miles from home. We will be travelling up on the Friday, tackling Mount Snowdon on Saturday and returning home on Sunday!
We will be fundraising for ourselves, Sussex Young Farmers, and Kent Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance. Read our story on our donation page to find out more about why we’ve chosen these Charities to support.
