Night Hike – Thursday 28th October 2021

Forest Row YFC organised the Night Hike this year on Ashdown Forest. It was the perfect location with the forest always being covered in mist and lots of paths and tracks to lead participants astray! It was great fun to organise and Marshall on the night. Seeing how each team worked out the maps and how competitive some of them were was brilliant. The teams who came 1st and 2nd have to give themselves a pat on the back, they ended up running the whole course which wasn’t easy in the mud, bumpy tracks and up and down a lot of hills – it was a very close finish with only a few minutes between them!
Thank you to all the members who came along and joined in, great fun was had by all and everyone completed the course and made it back in one piece! Any new members who haven’t had a chance to join in with a Night Hike before, it is highly recommended and make sure you join in on the next one.
Looking forward to wherever it will be next year!
Congratulations to Hailsham YFC for taking the top 3 places.
